Tauranga Visitor Centre

Some great starting points for additional information about the Bay of Plenty are:

Information Centres
iSITES are visitor centres with free local and national tourist information, as well as booking services for transport and accommodation. You can download a map with the country’s 80-odd centres from www.newzealand.com The Visitor Centres are easy to spot with their distinctive ‘i-SITE’ signage, and they’re open every day. The Tauranga Centre is the biggest in the region, with its own Internet terminals, souvenir shop, travel books and brochures —including those produced by the local Council, the AA and the Department of Conservation.
